2005 NFL Senior League Game
In December of 2005, during a regular season game against the Jets, the Patriots having locked up their playoff berth put backup Quarterback Doug Flutie into the game. The Jets had already been playing their backup Quarterback Vinny Testaverde. This marked the first time ever in a regular season game that two Quarterbacks over the age of forty played against each other.
