Here’s another great piece of Jerry Rice trivia.

Jerry Rice is the only person in the post AFL-NFL merger to ever finish the season as the leader in a major offensive category, and have his total be double that of the second place finisher. In 1987, Jerry Rice finished the year having caught 22 touchdowns for the San Francisco 49ers. The second place player in touchdown receptions was the Philadelphia Eagles’ Mike Quick with eleven.

It doesn’t get more dominant than that.
