Planning On Going To Baseball’s Spring Training? Here’s A Tip!
Many Americans travel south in the late winter and early spring to build a vacation around Major League Baseball’s spring training schedule. I speak from experience when I say that escaping the cold weather in the north and enjoying some sunshine while watching tons of relaxing baseball games is a must-do at least one time in every sports fan’s life.
The games are great, the weather is (usually) great, and the ballfields are fabulous, but here is an overlooked tip to maximize the amount of fun you’ll have. Pass on staying in the chain hotel. Staying in hotels can not only make you feel like some of the possibilities of your trip are being narrowed down for you, but it can also take some of the “local flavor” out of your trip. Instead, rent a house or condo covering your stay in the area and it’ll feel like more of a hands-on experience. For example, if your plans call for you to be in the Scottsdale, Arizona area… then check out Scottsdale rentals and see if there is something that catches your eye.
The main idea is that by renting a home or condo, your residence is accentuating your vacation… by staying in just another chain hotel room, your vacation is conforming to that hotel’s policies and shortcomings.
