The Super Bowl Winning Head Coach With The Worst Career Win-Loss Record

by @ . Filed under Coach Facts

The fact we have for you today centers around coaching and Super Bowl victories. The question is of all the NFL head coaches that have won a Super Bowl, who has the lowest win-loss percentage? To be a Super Bowl winning coach, a coach has to not only be exceptional at their job but they also need to be blessed with having a talented team.

Well, the answer to the question is Weeb Ewbank. Ewbank led the New York Jets to a Super Bowl victory in 1968 in the game made famous by Joe Namath and his prediction of victory. Ewbank coached the Jets for 11 seasons and Baltimore Colts for nine. His win-loss percentage over the course of his twenty year career was .502 as he put up a 130-129-7 record.
