We’ve covered the career leaders for quarterback (Steve Bradley) and running back (Vincent Alexander) in terms of players whose NFL career consist of only one game played, so to add to the list we need to take a look at the receivers. Which receiver has the most receiving yards of any player who has only played one NFL game in their entire career?
That honor goes to Chicago Bears wide receiver Randy Burks who in his one game in the NFL caught one pass for 55 yards. That is more receiving yards than any other player who has played only one game in their career.
While Bradley and Alexander accomplished their marks as replacement players during the 1987 NFL player’s strike, Burks got his chance at the big time in 1976.
