North Carolina Tar Heels Quarterbacks Picked In The NFL Draft

The University of North Carolina football team is not quite as famous as the Tar Heels basketball team but they have had some great success too. They play their home games at Kenan Memorial Stadium and many great players have suited up for the school over the years. Some of the many great players to have played there include Lawrence Taylor, Chris Hanburger, Don McCauley, Jeff Saturday, Charlie Justice, Willie Parker, Alge Crumpler, Natrone Means, Dre Bly, and Julius Peppers.

A lot of attention is paid to the quarterback position and here is a look at the former North Carolina Tar Heels who have gone on to be drafted into the National Football League.

Jack Cummings – 1960 – Eagles – 4th Round

Dan Talbott – 1967 – 49ers – 17th Round

Jeff Beaver – 1968 – Colts – 15th Round

Chris Kupec – 1975 – Bills 15th Round

Ronald Curry – 2002 – Raiders – 7th Round
