Matt Cavanaugh – 1978 – Patriots – 2nd Round

Rick Trocano – 1981 – Steelers – 11th Round

Dan Marino – 1983 – Dolphins – 1st Round

Alex Van Pelt – 1993 – Steelers – 8th Round

Tom Savage – 2014 – Texans – 4th Round

Of note:

-Five of the eight Pitt Panthers quarterbacks selected in the NFL Draft, including the first three ever, were all taken by the hometown Pittsburgh Steelers.
