Northern Arizona Lumberjacks Quarterbacks Taken In The NFL Draft


Northern Arizona University is located in Flagstaff, Arizona which is an extremely beautiful part of the state. This small school has had a lot of success in sports including in football. They have even had a number of players end up getting drafted into the National Football League. Here is a look at all three quarterbacks who have gone from playing for Northern Arizona to being drafted into the NFL.

Bob Stewart – 1970 – Broncos – 16th Round

Scott Lindquist – 1983 – Raiders – 12th Round

Jeff Lewis – 1996 – Broncos – 4th Round
Jeff Lewis was drafted in the 4th round in 1996 by the Denver Broncos. As a backup, he would earn a Super Bowl ring too when the team won Super Bowl XXXII. After a few years with Denver he would finish his career with two years on the roster of the Carolina Panthers.
