As a senior in high school, Ezekiel Elliott won the state title in four different events at the Missouri Class 3 State Championships. All four titles were won in a span of approximately 2.5 hours. These titles were won in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter run, 110 high hurdles, and 300 hurdles.

Ezekiel Elliott attended John Burroughs School in Ladue, Missouri. Other notable alumni from the same school include actress Sarah Clarke, actor Jon Hamm, actress Ellie Kemper, and Major League Baseball players Dave Sisler, Dick Sisler, and Scott Van Slyke.
