O.J. Simpson: In The Movies

O.J. Simpson is a very famous person, or infamous depending on your view of the man.  Before he was convicted of kidnapping and acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, he was a great football player and top celebrity.

During his football playing days, O.J. Simpson was definitely one of the more popular players in the country. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1968 at USC and then was drafted by the Buffalo Bills who were at the time members of the American Football League. His first few years weren’t extremely successful, but in 1973 he became the first player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. He also won the NFL rushing title four times during the early and mid 1970s. He finished his playing career as a member of the San Francisco 49ers, playing football professionally in the city where he grew up. For his exploits on the field, O.J. Simpson would be voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Simpson’s popularity transferred over to the screen too as he was very successful with product endorsements and even acted during his playing days. He eventually ventured into television and movie roles on a larger basis after retirement, here is a look at his acting credits.
