Ken Anderson was the first big star or popular player the Cincinnati Bengals had at the quarterback position. He came to the team in the early 1970’s and showed immediately that he had the talent to be one of the better quarterbacks in the league. Throughout the end of that decade and the beginning of the next, Anderson’s name would regularly appear on yearly leader lists and as the recipient of individual awards.
