A Week Four Look At The Remaining Undefeated NFL Teams

Roughly 25% of the 2008 NFL season is over and there are three undefeated teams left. There is a reasonably good chance that none of these teams will finish the season undefeated. But as of right now, these are the cream of the crop.

Buffalo Bills
The Bills have outscored their opponents so far this season by a score of 109-63. This is the main reason for their undefeated start. They have actually been out gained in rushing yards by their opponents during the first four games of the season. The Bills passing attack has been stellar so far this year, so much so that even the punter Brian Moorman has completed a pass for a touchdown.

Tennessee Titans
The Titans haven’t had a close scare yet during their first four victories of the season, they’ve outscored their opponents 102-46. The team’s defense has been one of the biggest reasons that they are doing so well this year. The most points the Titans have given up in a game this season is 17.

New York Giants
Thanks to an early bye week, the New York Giants are undefeated but also only have a record of 3-0. They have outscored their opponents 83-43 in their three games and have yet to truly be scared in a game. Of the three undefeated teams, they are the only ones that have gained more yards rushing and receiving than their opponents.

These three teams will most likely not remain undefeated for long, but for right now they are giving their fans their moneys worth. The Giants are the defending Super Bowl champions and good things were expected of them, but the Titans and Bills have taken the league by storm. It will definitely be interesting to see how far they can go this season.
