1. When the All American Football Conference folded, three teams were taken into the National Footbal League: the Cleveland Browns, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Baltimore Colts.

2. The Cleveland Browns won the 1950 NFL Championship. This was the team’s first year in the National Football League.

3. Following the 1982 strike shortened NFL season, the Cleveland Browns qualified for the playoffs despite putting up a record of just four wins and five losses.

4. Former NFL punter and quarterback Tom Tupa scored the first two point conversion in NFL history in 1994 while playing for the Cleveland Browns.

5. For the Cleveland Browns first two seasons in the NFL, 1950 and 1951, they used all white helmets. They wouldn’t change to their traditional orange helmets until 1952.
