1. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost the first 26 NFL regular season games they played, not winning their first game until near the end of their second season in the league.

2. Tampa Bay would use their number one overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft to select a player that would never even show up for training camp, Bo Jackson. Jackson would instead choose to play baseball for the Kansas City Royals and re-enter the NFL Draft the next season where the Raiders would select him in the seventh round.

3. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers achieved their first win in franchise history over the New Orleans Saints on the road, their first home victory would come later in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

4. The Buccaneers won the last game ever played in Philadelphia’s famous Veteran’s Stadium, the 2002 NFC Championship Game victory over the Eagles.
