The New Orleans Saints came into the National Football League in the late 1960s, and after a long period of struggling have come on to be one of the better teams in the league. The Saints have had a number of very good quarterbacks over the years including Drew Brees, Ken Stabler, Archie Manning, and Bobby Hebert. But, what about the guys they have thrown the ball to?
The Saints have had some good receivers over the years, in fact seven different receivers have had 1,000 yard seasons over the years for the team. Four of them were only able to accomplish this feat once each, they are Danny Abramowicz, Wes Chandler, Quinn Early, and Willie Jackson. Eric Martin starred for the team at receiver during the late 1980s and early 1990s, and he had three 1,000 yard receiving seasons.
Two players though are tied at the top of this list. Both Joe Horn and Marques Colston have had four 1,000 yard seasons for the Saints in recent years. With Colston still being active on the team, it is entirely possible that he will one day be the sole leader in this category.
