What Quarterback Has Thrown The Most Touchdown Passes Against The Cardinals?

The Cardinals franchise can trace its roots all the way back to 1898 and it was one of the original members of the NFL when the league was founded in 1920. As one of the oldest teams in the league, they have played in a number of games, including their time in Chicago, St. Louis, and now Arizona. Through all those games though, who has thrown the most touchdown passes against them?

-In fifth place on the list is longtime New York Giants quarterback Charlie Conerly who threw 26 touchdown passes against the Cardinals.

-The quarterback who has thrown the fourth most touchdown passes against the Cardinals is Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton with 28.

-Two players are tied for second on the list with 29 career touchdown passes against the Cardinals. Those players are Sonny Jurgensen, who spent his career with the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins, and Phil Simms who spent his entire career with the Giants.

-The player who threw the most touchdowns ever against the Cardinals franchise is longtime Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann. After starring at Notre Dame and then playing in the Canadian Football League, Theismann joined the Redskins and between 1975 and 1985 he threw 31 touchdown passes in games against the Cardinals.
