Finding a running back that can be productive and durable is tough, in fact many NFL franchises go years without being able to do so. Who has led the Minnesota Vikings in rushing the most times?

-Three players have led the Vikings in rushing three times: Dave Osborn (1967, 1969-70), Ted Brown (1980-82), and Herschel Walker (1989-1991).

-Bill Brown led the Vikings in rushing four different times, from 1964 to 1966, and then again in 1968.

-Darrin Nelson led the Viking is rushing five times, the first time in 1983, and then again from 1985 through 1988.

-Two players are tied for leading the Vikings in rushing the most times. Chuck Foreman (1973-78) and Robert Smith (1995-2000) each led the team in rushing six times.
